Mrs Selina Chow, Chairman of Hong Kong Tourism Board, GBS, OBE, JP, delivered a talk in the last C-class gathering on “Mainland China — Opportunities and Challenges”.
The seminar began with Dr KC Li’s welcoming remarks. Mrs Selina Chow started by providing the audience with an update on the Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB).
Then, Mrs Selina Chow shared with participants on HKTB’s activities in a specific market namely Mainland China. Mrs Chow said that China offers enormous opportunities to Hong Kong’s tourist sector, in light of the lifting of travel restrictions for Mainland residents. Mrs Chow showed how the HKTB, in cooperation with its partners in the Government, the travel trade and related industries, address these challenges, and build on Hong Kong’s core strengths, breadth and diversity to make this city the preferred Asian destination, not only for Mainland visitors, but also for tourists from other parts of the world.
The Seminar then closed by a question and answer session. All in all, the seminar was well-received with highly positive feedback from the audience.
Our many sincere thanks go to Mrs Selina Chow for contributing her valuable time and her great sharing.
