Businesses for the Year of Rooster

On 25 February (Fri), over 70 participants attended the dinner talk, “Innovative Businesses for the Year of Rooster”. Three speakers shared with us their secret of success. In the case of Watami, the Japanese Casual Restaurant, President Derek Liu, was the owner of a textile business before he took the leap. Mr Hugo Chan, Chief Operating Officer of PRIME Magazine, was a media executive with Next Media group, but chose a radically different business model from traditional publishing. Mr Tony Cheng, Founder of Print100.com, was in the information technology business prior to his current business venture.

The stories of these entrepreneurs make delightful tales of inspiration for our members. Special thanks go to Mr Gerry Ma, our Guest Host of the Dinner, to bring the highlight of the dinner in the Q&A session.
