Hong Kong Institute of Marketing (HKIM) was officially founded
on 12 November 1982, recognizing Hong Kong's need for a professional
association to represent the growing number of marketers and
to establish a networking base for members to access industry-related
resources and materials. The Institute now has an expanding
membership of thousands of marketing professionals. We are
dedicated to providing members with a wide range of quality
services and benefits.
HKIM is a founding member of the Asia Pacific Marketing Federation
(APMF), which was established in 1992 in conjunction with
16 other national marketing associations, including those
from Singapore, Japan, Thailand, Australia, South Korea, the
Philippines, New Zealand and Taiwan along with other countries
throughout the region. In addition, HKIM is an important affiliate
of the World Marketing Association (WMA).
