Mr. Chan manages a total of over 580 restaurant units, being the largest publicly listed Chinese quick service restaurants group around the world. Household brands under his management include Café de Coral, The Spaghetti House, Oliver’s Super Sandwiches. His group of Companies have achieved numerous local and international management awards including the Asian Management Awards and the Best Employers in Hong Kong Award.

Personally, Mr. Chan was selected as the Stars of Asia Award and awarded as the Executive of the Year for 2001 and Directors of the Year in 2003 and Entrepreneur of the Year in 2007.

Mr. Chan is a city planner by profession and serves on the executive committee of the Retail Management Association, the general committee of the Employers’ Federation of Hong Kong and the council of the Hong Kong Management Association. He is also being appointed as a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and an Honorary Advisor of the Hong Kong Institute of Marketing. He is currently a Governor of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong and the Chairman of Business Enterprise Management Centre of the Hong Kong Management Association.

個人方面，陳博士更獲甄選為『亞洲之星』殊榮、『二零零一年度香港商業傑出管理獎』、『2003年度傑出董事獎』及『2007中國企業家獎』。

陳博士為專業城市設計師；多年來出任香港零售管理協會執委成員、香港僱主聯合會及香港管理專業協會理事會成員，現為英國特許市務學會院士及香港市務學會榮譽顧問；並擔任香港加拿大商會Governor及香港管理專業協會之企業管理發展中心主席。
