Mr. Barry Liao, Managing Director of 3M Hong Kong Limited, started his career with 3M Taiwan since 1986 as a sales representative. With Liao’s extensive management and marketing experience, he is responsible for the company’s overall business development, strategy formation, plan execution, and to further enhance business growth in Hong Kong and Macao markets.

For the past 22 years, Liao has made remarkable contributions. Under his inspiration and unflagging focus on customer, the Industrial Business Group of 3M China and 3M Hong Kong had made tremendous records in sales growth. He also enhanced the communication of China and Hong Kong teams by combining key business strategies and local execution disciplines.

Liao received 3 pathfinder awards from 3M International Operations for the rapid sales growth with new product/application opportunities. Under his leadership, 3M Hong Kong has obtained the remarkable Outstanding Marketing Professional Award of the HKMA/TVB Awards for Marketing Excellence 2008. This has proven 3M’s marketing professionalism on launching the super close multi-media projection system with advanced technology to the market.
