Mr Tony Ma is the Chief Executive Officer of ESDlife and Hutchison-Priceline, two internet companies under the Hutchison Whampoa Group. Mr Ma joined Hutchison Whampoa in 1996, assuming various management positions within Hutchison Telecommunications before taking up the challenge to set up ESDlife.com, the pioneering e-government and e-commerce website, in 1999. Since its launch in 2001, ESDlife.com has shortly developed into the prominent life-stage media in Hong Kong, winning numerous international and local recognitions such as the Stockholm Challenge Award, World Summit Award, Best E-Commerce Company, Superbrands, High-Flyers, etc. In 2004, Mr Ma took up an additional role as Chief Executive Officer of Hutchison-Priceline, spearheading this highly successful online travel website’s business expansion in Asia.

Prior to joining Hutchison where he attained his extensive experience in digital and telecommunications industries, Mr Ma was a senior management consultant with PricewaterhouseCoopers (formerly Coopers & Lybrand Consultants), advising clients from both the public and private sectors. Mr Ma graduated from Oxford University with a Master of Science degree, and is a Chartered Statistician with the Royal Statistical Society of United Kingdom.


馬宗傑先生是和記黃埔旗下兩間互聯網公司－生活易及Hutchison-Priceline的行政總裁。馬先生於1996年加入和黃並於和記電訊從事不同的管理職務，於1999年被委派成立生活易網站，致力為香港提供創新的電子政府及電子商貿服務。生活易（ESDlife.com）於2001年正式啟動並迅速發展為一個包羅萬有的卓越媒體，多年來屢獲多項國際殊榮，如斯德哥爾摩科技挑戰獎、世界信息峰會大獎、最佳電子商貿服務供應商、超級品牌及High-Flyers傑出企業公司等。馬先生於2004年起兼任Hutchison-Priceline行政總裁，銳意為這成功的旅遊服務網站開展其亞洲業務。

馬先生加入和黃之前為羅兵咸永道高級管理顧問。馬先生畢業於英國牛津大學，並為英國皇家統計學會特許統計師。
